    Goryu/Hakuba 47

    The closest resort to the lodge, Goryu, offers a convenient and family-friendly skiing experience. It shares the same lift ticket with Hakuba 47 and is the only resort in the area to offer night skiing. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, Goryu is often the first mountain to open for the season and the last to close, thanks to its excellent snowmaking capabilities.

    Cortina

    A true powder paradise, renowned for its exceptional tree skiing, this resort offers much more than incredible slopes. The onsen, stunning architecture, and breathtaking views create a memorable experience. Don’t miss exploring the interior - taking a stroll through the impressive building and enjoy a ride in the glass elevator in the foyer.

    Norikura

    Norikura, located right next to Cortina, shares the same lift ticket for seamless access to both resorts. It’s a fantastic spot for exploring easy-access side-country terrain, making it a favourite for adventurous skiers and snowboarders.

    Tsugaike

    Tsugaike offers the widest beginner run in valley and a variety of courses for all levels. It features Hakuba’s longest gondola and a lively base station with a foot onsen, bars, great food, and the valley’s best crepe caravan. Mid-mountain, you’ll even find a Burger King for a quick burger fix!

    Iwatake

    Iwatake may have a lower elevation, but it’s known for its breathtaking views and beginner friendly layout. Across the base station, you’ll find the charming log cabin, a hidden gem run by a local couple, serving hearty ramen and gyoza. For a unique experience, head up to the mountain to Hakuba Mountain Harbour, where you can enjoy freshly baked treats paired with panoramic views.

    Kashimayari and Sansosaka offer skiing with breathtaking views of the nearby lakes, making them the ideal escape when other resorts are crowded. These hidden gems are frequented by locals, providing a quieter, more authentic experience away from the usual tourist spots.

    Happo-One, the largest and most iconic resort in the Hakuba Valley, gained global recognition as the host venue for the 1998 Winter Olympics and the Freeride World tour.
