Welcome to Kamishiro Mountain Lodge!

We would like to extend a warm invitation to you to come and enjoy our lodge.  We are an Australian family who have managed lodges at Mt Buller, Australia for over 25 years.

Since our arrival in Hakuba in 2018 we can now share our insight and knowledge of the local region’s. We are able to recommend an abundance of extras including sightseeing and how to get around, including assistance with planning all aspects of travel, transport, ski hire and lift tickets.

With over 30 years of experience as a highly qualified ski instructor, John knows what it takes to make a great snow holiday, including the best spots for all levels of abilities. Tracy has worked extensively in the travel industry throughout Europe and Australia.

Together this has given us a great appreciation for what makes a memorable holiday for you or for your whole family.

We look forward to welcoming you to our lodge to experience the magnificent Alps, rural Japanese culture and local food. We are sure you will enjoy Japan as much as we do.
